We all know Winsock control in visual basic or in C ,It is the matter is I use it and i know well how to use it ,but i just cant seem to understand how they developed it ,Is winsock uses certain API functions to send and receive packets ?
If i will design something like winsock control ?
Take a look at Beej's guide to network programming. It explains all the functions for sockets. Basically the Winsock ActiveX control just wraps these things.
